There are two kinds of hip abduction orthoses for children. One is used for babies with congenital hip dysplasia or developmental hip dysplasia and it is made for 0-18 month old babies. It is made according to prescription; it allows your baby to move his/her hips comfortably. We customise hip abduction orthoses according to the needs of your child.
The other hip abduction orthoses is required for children for post-operative stabilization of the hip secondary to soft tissue release and osteotomies, hip subluxation and dislocation. The brace supports your child’s hip so that he or she can move around and flex the muscles and rotate it too. It comes in different designs and with various joint options. We customise hip abduction orthoses to make sure that your child does not feel uncomfortable wearing it. We take care of the entire process of fitting the orthoses as well as counsel the children when needed.
